Julie Wright got the travel bug when accompanying her husband on his business trips starting in the late 1980s. As she approached retirement, Julie wanted to see more and LOVED planning tours and trips for friends and family. When she fully retired from her finance career, she embarked on her travel career.

“I specialize in European and river cruise travel. I enjoy all kinds of travel, but my area of expertise is definitely in Europe. I love doing research to find the hidden gems that really define the true culture of location. I love exploring off the beaten path, and living like a local,” says Julie.

As a dedicated travel advisor at JCV World Travel, Julie’s mission is to go above and beyond to serve her clients with care, expertise, and personalized solutions. Balancing life’s commitments while planning travel can feel overwhelming at times, and having someone in your corner who is ready to navigate unexpected challenges is invaluable.

Here’s an example of how Julie recently helped a client turn a logistically challenging situation into a perfect travel solution: A client wanted to take his mom to see Rome and Vatican city. They wanted an organized tour and didn’t feel comfortable touring independently. In addition, he wanted to visit his daughter who was studying abroad in Florence. His daughter had only two specific days when she could visit with family. After looking at countless tours, Julie found the exact itinerary that checked all the boxes AND had them in Florence for the two days that his daughter was available. Julie insists that it just takes patience to find the perfect fit!

Julie’s personal love of travel and nearly 40 years of visiting Europe has given her insight into what travelers will encounter when traveling. Proper prior planning can prevent a host of disasters.
