Our family embarked on an unforgettable Alaska adventure aboard the Regent Seven Seas Explorer this year for an Alaska Cruise journey. A 7-night sailing from Whittier (Anchorage) to Vancouver. With breathtaking natural wonders, once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounters, and the ease of all-inclusive luxury.
Our Alaska Cruise adventure began with scenic cruising at Hubbard Glacier, where we witnessed a breathtaking moment. We watched glaciers calve in real time, with ice crashing into the sea just beyond our ship. That moment alone made the journey worth it.
Most memorable was meeting a real Iditarod team and spending time with seven-month-old sled dog puppies. Watching Olivia and Cam hold and play with the dogs was pure joy and a hands-on lesson in Alaskan culture and resilience. A don’t miss activity when on an Alaska Cruises Adventure!

If you are planning an Alaska cruise for 2026, make sure you think ahead. Mid-June through mid-July, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be in several hosted cities, including Seattle and Vancouver. If you are planning to be departing or arriving in the host cities mentioned, be aware that hotel availability might be a challenge. Our recommendation would be to plan your Alaska cruise before or after the World Cup activities begin.
